The imprints of the successive crises of the last decade have left their indelible mark - economic, health, social - on the country and on each one of us.

Our behavior is the one that will lead to new development models. The SARS Cov2 pandemic outrage we have been experiencing since the beginning of 2020 is not the only crisis of the recent years. It was preceded by the economic downturn - which left a deep scar on the societies and the economies of most countries - but also by the climate change, the footprint of which is already heavy on all of us, but especially on the younger generations. By our behavior, we do not harm only the Environment, but also our proper lives.

The question that arises urgently is what will happen the next day, i.e. in the future, for all of us, for businesses, for the new generation, for the planet and how we should manage the crises.

The answer is clear: Responsibility, Sustainable Development, Green Growth, Circular Economy, New Productive Model!

At the same time, the pandemic has taught us the need for countries to gain self-sufficiency and adequacy in raw materials. Because, according to scientists, it seems that in the future many more crises in health sector await us and we must be prepared. This urgent need already shows the way to acquire a new productive model and, at the same time, to focus on our Earth, to cultivate it and of course to protect the Greek biodiversity, emphasizing the cultivation of medicinal plants.

At the Tseti Pharmaceutical Group of Companies, we have dynamically integrated in our Corporate Responsibility Strategy, the protection of the Environment with actions that respect our ecosystem. At the same time, our two industries have been proud members of the UN Global Compact, the United Nations Universal Pact, since 2016, having embraced in their operation, the Principles of the Pact.

In addition, our Group prepares during this period, 9 research programs, out of which the 7 programs relate directly, or indirectly, to the utilization of the Country's biodiversity. The programs are implemented in collaboration with Academic and Research Institutions".

This year we were distinguished as a Top Employer by a global independent organization, making us the first Greek pharmaceutical industry to achieve such a distinction and fills us with pride as well as commitment to our people. On the environmental axis, something we are proud of is the recycling of all non-hazardous solid waste (paper, plastic, glass, aluminum, wood, batteries, old electronic devices, toner printer inks, waste lubricating oils) while the noise levels produced are checked with continuous sound measurements at multiple critical points to ensure that we belong to the low noise industries. In addition, we have adopted stable and quality criteria of the United Nations Global Compact and the United Nations agenda through the achievement of the 17 dominant goals which have been institutionalized internationally (sustainable development goals)

It is indisputable that special emphasis has been placed on the circular economy and sustainable development through strengthening the green footprint (green footprint-green industry) as the carbon footprint has been reduced to the greatest extent possible for the current phase. .

Even more special importance has been given to the reduction of gas emissions through the planned use of electric propulsion, the continuous modernization of equipment with the application of automated technology and green processes that are friendlier to the environment (eco-friendly processing), the minimization of greenhouse gas emissions ( FG gasses) through the use of sensors with ultra-high detectability of natural gas leaks.

Responsibility and social solidarity are an integral element of the philosophy of the Tsetis Pharmaceutical Enterprises Group. From supporting vulnerable social groups in remote areas, to strengthening the new generation, research, public health (through regular voluntary blood donations and donations to the NHS), sustainable development and the environment (through coastal underwater cleaning and tree planting) , the management and the 640 employees of the Group, prove that responsibility is in their DNA.

ESG Criteria Framework Implementation

Πρόκειται για ένα σαφές πλαίσιο ενσωμάτωσης και εφαρμογής των κριτηρίων ESG (Περιβάλλον, Κοινωνία & Διακυβέρνηση) από τους οργανισμούς για την υπεύθυνη λειτουργία τους, μετρώντας την οικονομική, κοινωνική και περιβαλλοντική τους επίδοση. The protection of the environment, the reduction of the consumption of natural resources and energy and the emphasis on sustainable development is for OFET Group and its 568 employees, the highest priority.
