At MSD Greece we implement our vision in leading the way to improve lives in Greece and work together with stakeholders, Scientific and Academic Bodies so as to implement programs that focus on innovation, education contribution and care. 

We partnership with the Athens University of Economics and Business, on supporting the Innovation and Entrepreneurship major of the MBA International, and we have already supported 22 young entrepreneurs to turn their innovative idea to real business. We also provide free of charge the online scientific information platform Univadis exclusively for use by Greek health professionals.

We support initiatives that prove the contribution of innovative medicines in increasing life expectancy and/or decreasing hospital expenditures and work with Scientific Bodies in public health awareness campaigns. Lately we sponsored the campaign about the importance of lowering LDL-C levels, encouraging people to visit their doctor for advice. We strive to provide a positive working environment and are happy to be awarded recently as Best Workplace.

At MSD, globally, our goal is to provide people with innovative medicine that save and improve lives. This is achieved by discovering and developing new therapies, but also through our corporate responsibility, that is an integral part of the company’s mission. 

Among the great programs that MSD has developed globally are 'MSD for Mothers', a 10- year $500 million initiative focused on fighting complications of pregnancy and childbirth and the “Mectizan Donation Program” that donated more than 1 billion treatments of Mectizan to more than 117,000 communities in 34 countries to fight River Blindness. 

At MSD Greece, our vision is focused on taking the lead to improve lives in Greece, and today, due to the crisis, we are making an even greater effort. With our corporate social responsibility programs, we focus on areas such as education, innovation and care, while implementing programs that contribute and strengthen the Greek economy and society and support our employees in living a better life.

Πρόκειται για ένα σαφές πλαίσιο ενσωμάτωσης και εφαρμογής των κριτηρίων ESG (Περιβάλλον, Κοινωνία & Διακυβέρνηση) από τους οργανισμούς για την υπεύθυνη λειτουργία τους, μετρώντας την οικονομική, κοινωνική και περιβαλλοντική τους επίδοση. Οι οργανισμοί δημοσιοποιούν την προσέγγιση και τις επιδόσεις τους στους άξονες της Στρατηγικής, της Διαχείρισης Διαδικασιών, του Περιβάλλοντος και της Κοινωνίας, περιγράφοντας τις πολιτικές και τις διαδικασίες που εφαρμόζουν, απαντώντας σε 20 κριτήρια Βιώσιμης Ανάπτυξης, με σκοπό την αυτοαξιολόγησή τους ως προς το επίπεδο ωριμότητας εφαρμογής των κριτηρίων ESG, τη βελτίωση της ποιότητας των δημοσιοποιήσεων και των επιδόσεών τους και την ανάπτυξη μιας ολιστικής προσέγγισης της βιωσιμότητας στην επιχειρηματική τους λειτουργία.
