"At Attica Group we have achieved that the ESG criteria are not a goal but integrated principles on which the operation of our Group is based"
For us at Attica Group, Responsibility, Sustainability and the integration of ESG criteria in our operation is based on the threefold Strategy - Communication - Result.
With our vision and mission as a guide, we strategize where we want to reach and how much we want to develop responsible practices through goals and actions. It is important to know the final destination, as in a boat trip. We communicate the strategy to all our employees so that we can all be passengers on this journey. Through the constructive process of the workshops we decide the policies, procedures, quantitative goals and actions through which we will reach the final destination. It is an arduous job that requires a joint effort both in the planning of goals and actions and in their implementation. Everyone's commitment to this joint effort is a key ingredient to success.
So we have to communicate it to everyone. The clear destination with the intermediate goals and the actions required must be known in advance, as in the journey by ship, where before the final destination there are the intermediate ports. The joint effort required can only be made if all involved have a shared commitment, know about the level of their own effort required and have clear roles. Honest communication is important. The transparency of the processes is an important tool for achieving the goals and the final result.
The third point of the triptych we rely on is the final destination of the journey, such as by ship. The goals and actions must be achievable and clear so that we can get results. Measurable results.
Results showing whether the strategy was successful and whether it was properly communicated to all involved. All parties involved rely on the result to evaluate and judge. At Attica Group, the goals and actions for Responsibility and Sustainability have been integrated and are part of the employee performance evaluation. Like the boat trip. When you reach your final destination, then you can evaluate whether the entire trip was worth the effort and cost.
At Attica Group we have achieved that the ESG criteria are not a goal but integrated principles on which the operation of our Group is based.
