Plaisio, with 55 years of experience, is one of the most steadily growing, purely Greek companies and holds a leading position in the technology sales sector. The company, always guided by sustainable development, has achieved:

-For the Environment (E):

  • 430k Investment in Solar Panels
  • 96% Increase in recycling amounts comparing to the previous year
  • Installation of a Building Management System (BMS) in our store in Metamorfosi to control all the electromechanical systems of the building
  • Partial fleet replacement with hybrid technology vehicles and expansion of charging stations
  • Promote and offer a wider range of sustainable products 

 

-For the Society (S):

  • Organizing for the second consecutive year the Plaisiobots robotics competition aiming to promote and enhance innovation in Greek education. The prize for the winning team was a 5-day educational visit to CERN in Switzerland.
  • For the 5th consecutive year, Plaisio supported the work of the Panhellenic Association of Women with Breast Cancer "Alma Zois" by participating in the Race for the Cure
  • In the beginning of new school year, our volunteer team "Plai Sou", in collaboration with the organization "Together for Children" and with significant contributions from consumers, collected and donated 11,732 school supplies to children in need.

 

-For the Governance (G):

  • Zero confirmed incidents of corruption or bribery
  • Zero reports of whistle-blowing procedure
  • Adoption of 22 policies and procedures
  • Zero incidents of personal data breaches

At PLAISIO Computers we are committed to promoting sustainable development through innovative solutions with respect for the environment and society and with the active participation of all stakeholders. With this in mind, we have developed strategies that focus on the three pillars of sustainability: Environment, Society and Governance.

Moving in this direction, we have invested in renewable energy sources, with the inallation of photovoltaic systems at our facility in Magoula, achieving a 45% reduction in energy consumption at the company's most energy-intensive facility, and the expansion of the network of electric vehicle charging stations, constantly aiming to reduce carbon dioxide emissions. We continuously monitor and optimise energy and water consumption, use FSC paper for most of our packaging materials and integrate eco-oriented products into our ranges.

We create jobs, ensuring equal development opportunities for employees and actively contribute to society, especially through the "Plai_Sou" team of PLAISIO employee volunteers and through the PlaisioBots institution, offering realistic and useful topics, such as entrepreneurship, robotics and programming, in order to support children's dreams and help them discover and develop their talents.

ESG Criteria Framework Implementation

Πρόκειται για ένα σαφές πλαίσιο ενσωμάτωσης και εφαρμογής των κριτηρίων ESG (Περιβάλλον, Κοινωνία & Διακυβέρνηση) από τους οργανισμούς για την υπεύθυνη λειτουργία τους, μετρώντας την οικονομική, κοινωνική και περιβαλλοντική τους επίδοση. Οι οργανισμοί δημοσιοποιούν την προσέγγιση και τις επιδόσεις τους στους άξονες της Στρατηγικής, της Διαχείρισης Διαδικασιών, του Περιβάλλοντος και της Κοινωνίας, περιγράφοντας τις πολιτικές και τις διαδικασίες που εφαρμόζουν, απαντώντας σε 20 κριτήρια Βιώσιμης Ανάπτυξης, με σκοπό την αυτοαξιολόγησή τους ως προς το επίπεδο ωριμότητας εφαρμογής των κριτηρίων ESG, τη βελτίωση της ποιότητας των δημοσιοποιήσεων και των επιδόσεών τους και την ανάπτυξη μιας ολιστικής προσέγγισης της βιωσιμότητας στην επιχειρηματική τους λειτουργία.
