Growthfund, the country's National Investment Fund, is the manager of a significant portfolio of subsidiaries and public holdings.
It is a holding company established in 2016 with the Greek State as its sole shareholder, as represented by the Minister of National Economy & Finance.
Through its work, it leverages the national wealth, contributing to prosperity and economic development. Through targeted investment strategies, Growthfund creates value equally for the economy, citizens and the environment.
Growthfund aims to maximize public wealth, adding surplus value to the 16 subsidiaries and holdings it has in its portfolio. Companies that employ over 25,000 employees and have a strong footprint in every aspect of citizens' daily lives, as they operate in six key sectors of the economy:
- Energy,
- Transport & Infrastructure
- Technology & Innovation
- Real Estate Management & Development
- Postal Services
- Food & Supply
In addition, its portfolio includes participations in National Bank and Attica Bank and the Strategic Procurement Unit (PPF), which is assigned the maturation and tendering of projects of strategic importance.
